The Cinema Snob: Jaws 5
The Cinema Snob (2009)
"Jaws 5: Cruel Jaws"
In this now long-running series, writer-director Brad Jones play the title character, the Cinema Snob, a mainstream or high art critic who decides to review some of the most notoriously bad movies ever made. Since the original episode this series has grown to have a very high cult following and fans from around the world.
Director Bruno Mattei makes another appearance as his unofficial JAWS sequel gets bitten by The Cinema Snob. Here's another winning episode from the Snob as he takes on this rip-off where Mattei not only borrowed dialogue from the Universal series but he also had the guts (or lack of brains) to use footage from the films. Yes, there isn't any "new" shart footage here as Mattei simply borrowed footage from the real JAWS series, which of course gets plenty of nice jokes. The Snob has some great lines throughout this and especially the ones aimed at the nerd shark expert who clearly hasn't seen a shark in his life. All in all there are plenty of laughs to be had here.
