- As for the Wheldon family Sunday tradition, the parents Frank and Molly are preparing a splendid roast chicken. But their daughter Laura knows all too well that this is just their way of settling their differences.
- The Wheldon Family has everything they need in their suburban middle-class world, although they want to be more than that. The love has long gone, especially between the parents. They prepare a Sunday roast chicken, as the usually do for this occasion, while their daughter explains the recipe of the chicken to the viewer. As everyone proceeds to tear the chicken apart on the table, the parents start their "game" by picking on each other like kids, which eventually turns into an outright and violent war, where they more or less force their daughter to take a side, ripping her apart almost like the chicken they are devouring. As the fight reaches its high point, the daughter can't bear the pressure anymore and releases an infernal scream as we cut to black. Finally, the daughter stands alone in the devastated and filthy dining room full of blood stains, especially around her teeth - Something terrible has happened here. She finishes explaining the recipe of the chicken: "It'll make leftover lunch, dinner, a sandwich or even soup. In the end it will be gone completely. But you will never loose the taste for it."—Lukas Steinmaier
