this is one movie that i really loved. The taxi at midnight is a rich tapestry of sound, visuals and music. Its philosophical content is rich in subtext. Director Ed kennedy for me has neatly interwoven the overall composition of the movie. The taxi driver and the man collaborate neatly with remarkable understatement. In fact the movie leads you effortlessly into its dreamlike movement. And slowly but surely towards its ultimate statement on the meaning of the need for love, as the illusory taxi driver disappears into the dark shadows of the midnight air. This film should greatly appeal to those looking for a romantic movie. As it left me in awe at its dark nemesis
