After waking up on the beach after a party, Jason glances at his phone and sees that Meredith has called many times and we briefly see the current date displayed as "Thursday, June 25th". Later the next day, it is mentioned by another character that Jason and Meredith will be getting married "Saturday, March 27th...next Saturday".
Jason knew Chiada, but not her friends. While on the golf court with Dick, he receives a photo from Lenore, which suddenly seems to be a contact in Jason's phone.

Absent any in-film specification, we have to assume the story is taking place close to present day since the cars and other tech are recent. However, the wedding is announced in this 2016 film as being on Saturday, March 27th. The most recent Saturday 3/27 was in 2010. The next year with a Saturday 3/27 is 2021.
Frequently, references are made to Robert De Niro's character being a history professor at the University of Georgia, and many students at the parties in Daytona Beach are from the University of Georgia. However, the mascot and team they claim loyalty to is the Hornet. The Hornet is the mascot of Georgia Tech, not the University of Georgia. Also, the University of Florida is not the Tigers. This may be some kind of copyright issue, though.
While on the golf course the grandpa hot wires the golf cart. He hot wires it like you would a ICE car with the same sound effects even though golf carts are electric and an electric sound effect is heard after the fact. Also he would need to keep the wires crossed to complete the circuit.
