Memorable Fireman Sam movie

Certainly adore Fireman Sam since early childhood, now finally a movie of it is released in late November 2009 (in UK) after series 7.

Although I've seen opening credits in Welsh, I'm at least content the movie has the full theme song intro like of series 5 (as each episode from series 6 onwards has shortened intro for 30 seconds approximately), and likeable ending credits music "He's Our Friend" with clips from both sixth and seventh series.

Not only dealing with harrowing forest fire disaster caused by Norman Price, yet there's other storylines such as Sam being offered a tempting promotion in Newtown whilst having second thoughts, Elvis's desire to win a medal for heroism, Mandy wants her dad to spend quality time with her (I would've expected it should've been her nurse mom Helen instead, not her dad Mike).

Got quite a laugh when Mike Flood is fixing the broken balcony door at the lighthouse, he repeatedly goes up and down the stairs in the lighthouse to answer his phone, collect his hammer he left on his van after him. Moment Trevor set up some mantrap and unfortunately Helen got caught in it, don't think he was aware who he unintentionally got caught. Near the ending, great depressing music played at scene when everyone is heartbroken in having to evacuate Pontypandy as assuming the raging fire is threatening to destroy the town for good. Luckily, storm arrived at the time they arrived at the harbour (knew they won't leave and town wouldn't be destroyed). Radar found the sausages in Norman's bag, or they could've still fallen out in front of everyone after Norman throws the bag, just didn't seem like solid evidence and Radar isn't some detective's dog. Norman deserved to feel ashamed for what he did (not it did any good in later seasons) and don't know why his cousin Derek isn't given pioneer survival award - he didn't cause fire (Norman saying he wanted sausages too).

Some trivia points in the movie such as the debut of strict Chief Fire Officer Horatio Boyce from Newtown - as Steele's mention former colleague and friend, yet have a bit of rivalry between them. This is last time Steven Kynman voices James Jones (sounds similar to Norman Price) before replaced by John Hasler.

I don't know whether I like this movie compared to the hurricane one (has plot hole why rain didn't extinguish the fire, unlike in this movie) and the Norman Price and the Mystery in Sky.
