A man and a woman enter the stage and begin to dance. Nominally it's a waltz, but it soon becomes an acrobatic act.
Extreme dancing always has a gymnastic quality to it, but this one, with the dancers wearing evening clothes, carries it to an extreme as the man occasionally flips his partner into the air. It's quite startling to see, and even more amazing is the woman's costume, with so many petticoats and flounces that her underwear is invisible.
As an added bonus, this short film is hand-stenciled, and the colors have survived (or been preserved) very well. Many movies in this period were hand colored, but often we are unaware of this fact because of the low survival rate of such copies.
