Goofs

Blade Runner 2049

Edit

Continuity

(at around 1h 6 mins) The back of K's jacket gets dirty during the fight before reaching the orphanage and then is completely clean when inside the orphanage.
(at around 1h 55 mins) When Deckard locks the door and runs to where his Spinner is parked, the position of his dog relative to him changes between shots. First, the dog is ahead of him when he locks the door, then behind him as Officer K bursts through the wall, then the dog vanishes when the Spinner explodes, only to reappear sliding across the ground from ahead of Deckard.
(at around 1h 45 mins) When Officer K says to Deckard, "Look, I don't want to hurt you..." he is extending his right arm towards Deckard. In the next shot when K says "... but you're not making it easy." his left arm is extended towards Deckard, with his right arm resting at his side.
(at around 28 mins) When in Lt. Joshi's office, after discovering the bones are from a pregnant replicant, Lt. Joshi has her back to the wall while talking to K. She steps forward saying "Are you telling me no?" When the camera returns to her three seconds later she is back against the wall.
At 1:22'09": Dr Anna Stelline has both hands down and a worried look on her face as visible in the reflection in the glass then on the next shot she has one hand up to her face and is in tears.

Factual errors

When Agent K finds the 2 identical DNA records, one for a girl and one for a boy it would be possible to tell which is the copy as gender is encoded into DNA.
(at around 44 mins) When K meets the 3 hookers, there are lots of foreign language ads all around, one of them is for Coca Cola but in Hebrew. The letters flash on and off and then light each letter individually. The order in which they light up is left to right, and not as it should be, since it's Hebrew, right to left.
(at around 2h 40 mins) The first song listed ("Summer Wind"), is displayed as "Perfromed by Frank Sinatra" instead of "Performed by Frank Sinatra".
The right way to "glue" a cut is to first pinch the edges, then apply the glue on the skin to allow the now tighten flesh to heal; and not smearing the glue inside the wound and hope for instant gluing when pinching on the skin (fresh blood in the wound will prevent it from happening).

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

(at around 2h 30 mins) At the end of the film when K leans back against the steps, you can see an indention in the snow where his elbow is about to be placed, leading one to believe that this is a continuity error and that the indentation is from a previous take. However, if you look as he sits down, he places his hand on the step to lower himself down, creating the indentation where his elbow will later rest.
(at around 43 mins) We hear a voice saying "see-see-see-pee" CCCP. But CCCP is written in the Cyrillic alphabet and should be read "es-es-es-er" (Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik) . At least "see-see-see-are" would be okay. It is common for speakers of English to replace the Cyrillic 'P' in 'CCCP' with a Latin 'P' and pronounce it accordingly.
(at around 34 mins) The Memory Bearings are optical devices, so how were they affected by the Blackout of 2022, which was caused by an electro-magnetic pulse? The memory bearings are read optically, but we can only guess how they are written, and edited; a punched card is also read optically, but it would be "edited" by a shotgun, and "erased" by a rainstorm.
Immediately before Luv kills Lt. Joshi, she says "Where is he? You're so sure, because he told you - because we never lie." She follows that with "I'm gonna tell Mr. Wallace you tried to shoot me first, so I had to kill you," which would be a lie, something she just said her kind never does. However, Luv's tone was sarcastic when she said that replicants never lie. As she immediately followed that statement by saying she intended to lie about the circumstances of Joshi's death, Luv was essentially telling Joshi that replicants CAN lie, and mocking Joshi for believing that they were incapable of lying.
"PAN AM" is seen on the side of a building; there is advertisement for "ATARI" and for "products made in CCCP" (the soviet union). The existence of all these is due to the fact that the movie plays in an alternate universe, not in ours.

Revealing mistakes

Jared Leto's eye contact lenses are visible in close up shots.

Miscellaneous

K tells Morton to "look up and to the left" for his eyeball scan. When K actually manages to get the scan, Morton is looking straight up, not at all to the left. Nevertheless, the serial number on his eyeball appears perfectly centered for optimal viewing.
When Joe and Deckard arrive at the Stelline facility at the end of the movie, there is a shot of Joe looking towards Deckard while they talk. In the first shot, the color grading is darker and green hued, mismatching the cool blueish tone of the previous scenes and setting. The next time this same vantage point is shown, the color grading is corrected.
At around 2:28:59, when K says "All the best memories are hers" is graded differently compare to the rest of the scene.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Agent K arrives where Deckard has been living all those years,a bee flies on his hand. When the bee flies away, the sound they hear is of a fly not a bee.

Plot holes

While K is searching the DNAbase, Joi asks K why he didn't tell Lt. Joshi about the numbers carved on the wooden horse. She produces the horse on her hand, but despite K having previously told Joi about the memory, Joi couldn't have known exactly what the horse looked like, because K hadn't found it yet.
When K reaches Las Vegas, the instruments read "radiation levels: nominal", which means very low; it is not explained why no one has reclaimed the area and all its abandoned wealth.
