The full short film was shoot in one night between 1 AM and 3 AM. 50 minutes of footage was shoot.
The shot were the hand's shadow is approaching to the switch was added 2 months later. Luis Rodrigo suggested the idea to David Díaz.
The final cut came out on April 8, 2007.
The must difficult shot to do was the first shot during the pitch black moment. It took 11 takes to do it correctly. David Díaz had the camera's screen turned into his side to perform correctly the camera's movement from his face to the corridor that's why the light was tricked to created a shadow into David's eyes.
David Díaz made this short film in homage to Stanley Kubrick. He actually shot it in 4:3, with a digital black bar filter add in the camera to create a 1.66:1 aspect ratio. But the aspect radio only arrived to 1.46:1. And also used music themes by Béla Bartók, György Ligeti, Jack Nitzsche and Krzysztof Penderecki also used in Kubrick films.
