  • None.There are no sex or nudity shown in this movie. The main character dresses in a fairy-like costume which accentuates her body somewhat.

Violence & Gore

  • The main character, Renee, cuts herself in order to alleviate stress and pain.
  • Two different characters experience detoxification, which causes them to experience hallucinations and become violent at times.

Profanity

  • 10-15, maybe more, uses of "shit" and its derivatives, various other uses of "damn" and "ass", and three or four uses of "bitch" throughout the movie.
  • Religious exclamations throughout (My God, oh my God, Christ's sakes are the primary exclamations.)
  • Plenty of name calling (meth head, junkie, etc.).
  • Various terms about drugs (getting high, cocaine, pot, junkie, detox, etc.)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The entire movie is based off of a young woman addicted to drugs. There are many instances, in probably twenty to thirty minutes of the movie, where a joint, a cigarette, or a can/bottle of beer is seen.
  • A small baggie of cocaine is given to a man by Renee in hopes to quit.
  • Talk of drugs (cocaine, pot, marijuana) are prevalent throughout the film.
  • The main character, Renee, has hallucinations, or "trips", of a young child walking in front of a speeding truck, of Cinderella smoking a joint, and Travie McCoy from Gym Class Heroes rapping in the school hallways.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The entire movie is about drugs and rehab, so it is very emotionally intense and heart-gripping.

Sex & Nudity

  • Renee is unwillingly taken into a room and raped by a man. You can hear thumping and voices inside the room, but nothing is seen. She is seen after the rape crying in a tub.
  • Renee reveals the reason she got hooked on drugs, when she said a man drugged her at a party and raped her in a parking lot.

Violence & Gore

  • Renee (Dennings) struggles against a man who is taking her into a room to rape her.
  • A woman takes a baseball bat to a man's pickup truck.
  • A young girl walks in front of a car and is hit, supposedly being killed. It is then gathered that it is a hallucination.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The main plot of the film follows Renee as she tries to get herself cleaned up and start a new life.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The two scenes where Renee is raped are intense, even though they don't last long.
