Deepak calls Purvi from the USA after getting to know about Prabhakar's resignation. When Purvi gets the call, the caller-ID on Purvi's mobile shows a number that has +91 as the country code, which is clearly an Indian number. This cannot be an Indian number on roaming in the US as Deepak has gone there for his PhD and would not be still using his Indian number.

Even presuming it is roaming, the call also has 22 which is the area code for Mumbai landlines while Deepak is calling from a cell phone .
Throughout the movie Deepak Kumar and Mithilesh Singh are shown carrying BlackBerry 9800 Torch mobile phones. The movie is set in 2008 whereas the phone was launched in 2010.
