A much decorated, awkward and homeless Marine gets beaten to death by 3 cavalier, rich guys in a back alley. Danny, an ex-Marine, is distraught by the outrageous act. After a difficult investigation, he succeeds in solving the case.

While investigating the murder of a homeless man, Danny takes a special interest in the case because the man is a decorated Marine. Eventually he learns that three wealthy men were the ones who killed him. While he gets one of them to admit to what happened, the other is protecting the third man who was the one who had no remorse about killing him. When the man is released due to lack of evidence, Danny places his career on the line to get him.
