In the final at-bat of the movie the batter starts with batting gloves on. He has to take them off due to paint on them. It exposes him as the criminal. When he returns to the batters box he has gloves on again and you see them for a second before time is called. Then the gloves are gone again for the rest of the at-bat.
Before the last game, when the River Rats run through the tunnel towards field, Lefty, who is now on the Fargo Bullets, can be seen in his #7 River Rats jersey.
In the first game, lefty says he is throwing a shutout in the mound visit. Right before the mound visit, the scoreboard says the Rats are losing 4-1. That's not a shutout...giving up 4 runs?? Then the next inning, its the 8th inning, and the score has decreased.
During Mickey's first game the second batter of the visiting team hits a home run. The game announcer days it was a three run home run, but the scoreboard she's the score as 2-0 for the visitors. A few minutes later, after the home team begins to rally, the score is shown at 2-4 for the home team.
