Twists and Turns
shelbythuylinh14 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Well there are twists and turns. And how that the tribe merged sort of as the person sent to Exile Island for two days and how that it helped to pay off on it there.

They would all be picking buffs however two people would have to be forced to sit out either be picked afterwards to go to EI or feast with the winning team. Where the first twist is there of the episode.

He had to decide either the winning team that got Applebees or that in the losing team as one team could help him or hurt him as he was technically caught between a rock and a hard place.

The second twist is the team that he picked was immune from TC but went while the other team had to play for individual immunity and plus the person voted out would not merge and sit on the jury.

As it made sense for that person that was on EI helped his case but he also could be making enemies and friends on both sides give or take to help his cause out. Whoever he makes the tribe that sat out may have won him respect and the other team enemies that he would have to earn back respect and trust.

Afterwards they did merge as it has been with twist and turns.

So-so game play, idiotic twist
getbacks15 April 2022
This is far from the most athletic group on Survivor much like last year. When someone like Lydia remarks that a beast like Jonathan physical threat...seriously, everyone is a physical threat to her. Dead people would be a serious threat to her.

Sloppy game play has made for some sloppy alliances.

This episode also welcomed S.41 idiotic, ""Turn back the clock"". What happens is seperate groups are made, Jeff cheers you on how important it is to win, and if you do win you enjoy a lovely meal while someone decides "no, you actually are a loser and you have to go to tribal". In other words if you win you actually lost and for those who lost actually won.

Hopefully we never see this stupid "twist" again, that and the pointless " risk your vote".

A traumatic flashback to S41
ASBKnight15 April 2022
Oh.. for a second there a got PTSD from the massive stupid Erika's turn back the time... and her winning, probably the most overated player.

In any case... like another user said, I hope on 43, they learn from these mistakes .. the risk your vote is interesting.. for the first 1-2 times... then it's just pointless.

Horrible Ending
tmmanole15 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A genuinely great episode, but the twist was expected because of 41 and it still ended up screwing people over. However, the worst of all is that they set it up to be an Omar vs Hai war, but then Hai folded and him and Mike voted for Lydia (Hai's number 1) to go home BEFORE THE JURY. I don't know why Hai and Mike gave in and lost a clear jury vote by following THE ONE GUY WHO COULDN'T VOTE. Genuinely a great episode, horribly unexplainable ending.

PS: tbf there was an explanation, but it was a 10 second long scene that made it seem like they weren't too sure but wouldn't just give Lydia up without a fight. Seriously, I hope next episode explains wtf made Hai give up a free jury vote. Big up Omar for pulling that off and saving Johnathan tho.
