- Bizarro walks through his house, filled with the photos of his family. Outside, he uses an inhaler. In an underground tunnel, he fights soldiers, and he manages to defeat them. One of the super-soldiers fights Bizarro. Later, Bizarro goes to Ally's office and rips her necklace off.
Later, wearing a protective suit, Bizarro looks back at the ruins of his farmhouse and then flies off into the red sky. He smashes into the mines and burrows into the ground.

At the Fortress, Bizarro tells Superman and Lara that he was weakened by the X-Kryptonite in the mines, and was trapped. He points out that he's trapped again, and insists that he only killed the teenagers by necessity. When he and Superman argue, Lara finally yells at them to stop, He asks Bizarro what the pendant is, and Bizarro says that it's an artifact as old as time born when their worlds split apart, and when combined with its counterpart, it can elevate the user into godhood. Bizarro explains that he came there to make sure that he wasn't stopped, and says that he doesn't have enough strength on that Earth to destroy the pendant. The yellow sun weakens him.
Bizarro says that there is a more certain way to end things, by killing Ally. Superman refuses to kill anyone, and Bizarro tells him that then he has to destroy the pendant. to make sure Ally can't use it to merge with her other self. If Ally does merge, she will inherit enough power to send them all into oblivion.
At the Kent house, Clark tells Lois what Bizarro told him. There's nothing in Lois' Inverse Society research about Bizarro, and she suggests that she and Chrissy to have to do deeper research to figure out what Chrissy saw when she crossed over. The couple figure that Clark has to get the pendant back from Mitch and destroy it.
Mitch and his techs report to Mitch's superior Hardcastle that they haven't confirmed Superman is searching for the pendant, and Hardcastle points out that Sam never had a problem with Superman. Since Mitch has taken Sam's place, they've lost Superman's trust and X-Kryptonite has become public knowledge. Mitch admits that it was a miscalculation, and Hardcastle points out that soldiers died and it was more than a "miscalculation". She tells Mitch to represent the Threat Reduction Agency at the funerals of the soldiers, and then find Bizarro by any means necessary, or he'll be stripped of his duties.
Jordan goes into Jon's room to talk to his brother, and asks about Jon's new powers. Jon confirms that he doesn't have cold breath yet, and Jordan suggests that they tell Sam and then train together. When Jon drops his inhaler out of his bag, Jordan notices it and Jon lies and claims it belongs to Candace. The coach calls him and tells Jon that he's starting because Timmy is sick, and Jordan tells their parents. Jon is with them, and Clark figures that it's time for Jon to show everyone what he can do. He then takes his sons to school
At the Cushing house, Lana and her daughters gather in the kitchen. Sarah says that she isn't hungry, and Lana wants her to write thank-you notes for everyone who gave her gifts at her quinceanera. Sarah says that it all went to hell because of Kyle, then apologizes to Lana for bringing the subject up. Sophie asks if Kyle is ever going to go home, and Lana assures her daughters that Kyle loves them and will always be around. Lana asks Sarah to help Sophie get dressed. When Lana breaks into tears, Sarah goes over and hugs her.
Lois is at home alone reading a book about the Inverse Society, when Sam arrives and says that the three of them should talk. Lucy gets out of Sam's car and scowls at Lois, and Sam tells them that it's time for them both to apologize. The two sisters argue until Sam yells at them to stop. He says that they're his world and he needs his family back, and asks if they can try to make things right.
At the funeral of the two Supermen of America soldiers, Superman is there as is Mitch in uniform. Afterward, Superman offers his condolences to one of the mothers. Mitch comes over and offers her condolences, and she says that it's his fault that her daughter is dead. When Mitch promises to find Bizarro, the mother slaps him, says that he's a disgrace, and walks away. Superman tries to reassure Mitch, who angrily says that it's up to them to both stop Bizarro. The Kryptonian asks to discuss the situation with Mitch privately.
At school, Jordan asks Jon if he should be playing. Jon refuses to tell their parents about his new powers, and wonders why Jordan wants to expose his secret. Jordan finally agrees to keep his brother's secret, and Jon insists that he has everything under control.
Jordan approaches Sarah and asks how she's holding up, and says that her party wasn't that bad. Sarah tells him that it feels like Kyle convinced his family that he's a good guy, and is worried about Lana because she's been disappointed by Kyle so many times.
Kyle goes to the house and asks Lana if they can talk. She lets him in and he insists that he loves her, and what he did was wrong. Lana asks Kyle if he loved Tonya, and Kyle says that they're stronger and he's always loved her. Lana tells Kyle that she can't do it and tells him to leave, and Kyle says that he loves her with all of his heart and leaves.
At the Kent house, Lucy looks at Lois' photos of her nephew, and she and Sam joke about their haircuts. Sam finally excuses himself.
Superman tells Mitch that he captured Bizarro, and says that he has to destroy the pendant, based on what Bizarro has told him. He admits that he doesn't know what the bigger threat is that is coming. Mitch says that he'll send Superman's request up the chain of command. Superman hears people in an avalanche and excuses himself to go rescue them. Mitch tells his tech sergeant to find out what Superman is going.
Flying to the avalanche, Superman stops it before it wipes out a Russian village. He freezes it with his cold breath and then carves the ice into chunks with his heat vision. He tells the people that they'll be okay, hears Lucy asking if they can talk, and flies off.
The brothers have returned from school, and Lucy talks to the boys about the football team and the big game coming up. Clark comes in and Lucy hugs him, and then goes back to talking with the boys. Lois tells Clark that Lucy has been there all day, but they haven't talked about Ally. Clark gets a call from Lana and excuses himself until later.
Mitch is in his office, and the sergeant tells him that Clark was in Russia saving a village. The general figures that Superman will never tell him the things he needs to know, and doesn't rust him. One the sergeant leaves, Mitch looks at the pendant in his hand, then calls Hardcastle and says that he knows how to capture Bizarro but will need Hardcastle's permission to do it.
Clark meets Lana at the diner and she says that she knew Kyle was having an affair, but convinced herself she was wrong. Now she wonders what else she was wrong about. Lana tells Clark that Kyle came to see her, and asks Clark what she's going to do sine she's loved Kyle since she was 17. She asks Clark if he would stay with Lois if she cheated on him, and Clark says that he would need to know more about the situation. Lane then asks if he could love Lois after he cheated on her, and Clark says that if he would stay with her, he'd have to. When Lana figures that Clark has to be at the big game, he assures her that he's there as long as she needs him. Lana insists on Clark going, while she sits there and thinks. Once Clark leaves, Lana goes to the bar and talks to Tonya.
After the rest of the team goes out on the field, and Clark tells Jon that he earned the QB spot, Jon uses the inhaler once he's alone . He then goes out on the field, and defeats the Crows' rivals the Gators while using his powers. Sam, Lucy, and Lois sit down in the bleachers to watch, and Sam boasts that Jon has his arm. Leaving his daughters alone, Sam goes to get some food. The sisters talk about their childhood and Sam, and then they talk about Lucy being around more.
At the bar, Tonya says what she and Kyle did was wrong. Lana asks her if she loved Kyle, and Tonya says that she did and wasn't sure if he loved her. Tonya says that Kyle was a good guy and ended up choosing his family, and broke things off between them two years ago after Sarah's accident. Lana thanks Tonya for speaking to her and leaves.
Clark hears a signal from Mitch and tells Jon that he has to go. Gaines asks what's going on with Clark, and Jon tells him that Clark has an upset stomach. The coach sends Jon out to play, and Lucy and Lois apologize to each other. Lucy says that Ally was right about an inverse of them, and they start arguing about Ally and her means. Lucy finally says that she tried but Lois refuses to be wrong, and walks off.
Jon makes another touchdown pass. Denise tells Jordan and Sarah that Timmy's mother caught Timmy using drugs with an inhaler. Sam returns with food and finds Lois alone, and realizes the sisters had a fight.
Superman goes to see Mitch, who lures him into a hallway with red sun lamps. When a weakened Superman collapses, soldiers emerge from hiding and Mitch tells Superman that he's the threat, not the pendant. Superman insists that they're on the same team, and Mitch says that he's made the choice not to trust Superman.
At school, Candace meets with Jon in the locker room and congratulates him. Jordan comas in and Jon sees him, and asks Candace if he can talk to Jordan privately. Once Candace leave, Jordan tells his brother that he's using XK, and tells Jon that he needs to stop. Jon figures that Jordan is jealous.
As Mitch backs away, Superman fights the soldiers hand-to-hand and manages to knock them all out. Mitch draws a gun on the Kryptonian.
Jon's eyes glow red, and he tells Jordan to back off, and it's the new him. Meanwhile, Mitch shoots Superman with a green Kryptonite bullet
When Jordan tries to stop Jon, Jon shoves him away. Sam comes in and Jordan storms out, angry. Sam asks what's going on, and Jon tells him nothing and leaves.
Superman asks Mitch not to do it, and Mitch says that he has no choice and shoots Superman again.
Lana goes to the fire station and they talk about how they first met. She figures that the world isn't something new to be discovered, and their family is what makes things hard. Lana says that she talked to Tonya, and what Tonya said to her. She wonders if Kyle would have broken off the affair to save their marriage, and Kyle insists that he's always loved her and that hasn't changed. Lana admits that she's not sure if she loves him, and he should move out until she knows. With that, she walks off.
The Kents return home and Jordan walks away, angry. Lois asks Sam if he knows what's going on, and he dismisses it as "brother stuff". He admits that he hoped things would turn off differently, and if he had been more attentive when Lucy was younger, she never would have fallen in with Ally.
Jon tracks down Jordan and admits that he did something stupid, and the game felt "fake". He says that he messed up and it won't happen again, and asks Jordan how he found out. Jordan tells him that Timmy's mother found out, and the police were involved.
Lois is looking at photos of her and Lucy, when Sam comes in and tells her that Superman has been arrested for treason.
Soldier take away Superman on a gurney rigged with red sun lamps. They put him in truck to take him to where his half-brother is imprisoned, and Mitch tells the sergeant that until Superman gives them Bizarro's location, Superman will remain a prisoner of the US government.
