Continuity

Throughout the film, Rick is building a Mazda RX7 FC. During his "test drive" scenes, he drifts into a corner in the RX7, but exits driving a Nissan Silvia S14. This may be due to the fact that the "hero" car was stolen during production.
The green car, when seen drifting, and in many racing scenes, is a Nissan Silvia, but when it is in the garage and being worked on it is an RX7.
Tom implies the vehicle won't be stock for long, despite the 370Z appearing to be modified. Moreover, the performance statistics Rick said aren't possible for a base 370Z.

Factual errors

Throughout the green car is referred to as a mx5. It is clearly an rx7.
In the beginning Kayce is describing his car as a Nissan Skyline GT-R when the car in fact is named only (Nissan) GT-R. The GT-R is based on the older Skyline but doesn't carry the name anymore.
Rick describes Tom's Nissan 370Z as a $80,000 car. The MSRP for a base 370Z in 2011 is $31,360.
Sean doesn't want to be a race car driver. He wants to be a computer.

Revealing mistakes

As the green car is getting pushed into the cross traffic they are being pushed into a One Way - 4 Lane Road. When it cuts to the side angle showing the oncoming vehicles, it is a much narrower 2 way street.
The Chevrolet Volt appears larger than normal.
After Rick crashes his Nissan 370Z, a shot of the Nissan GT-R is shown, but right after Kayce sped off, a crowd in the distance is seen running towards the wreckage. It is unknown how those crowds immediately knew about the crash site or how they got there quickly as nobody witnessed the crash.
When Rick crashes, his 370Z turns into a 350Z.
Rick is shown entering Candy Cat One, despite the signage saying the premise is closed.

Miscellaneous

A helicopter is seen flying under the bridge. Helicopter pilots would never fly underneath the bridge at that altitude as it was considered too dangerous and violates FAA regulations.

Crew or equipment visible

(at around 38 mins) When race is over, the stunt man is visible in the car, before switching to the actor.

Errors in geography

The same case can be seen in the second race when Kayce is shown driving at the bridge, despite the cars on the streets and nowhere near the bridge.
During the first race, the interior shot of the RX-7 shows Rick driving on a bridge, but in all shots showing the RX-7 and RX-8 on the street, the interior shot still shows Rick on the bridge.

Character error

After the police chase, Officer Flynn doesn't arrest Rick.
When Rick visits his mother at work he can't keep his eyes off her exposed breasts.
