This episode of "E! True Hollywood Story" (indeed, back when the show was watchable) covers pretty much all there is to know about "The Dukes of Hazzard": the show's rise to #1 in the ratings; the epic merchandising; the show as cultural phenomenon; the ins and outs of production; the ratings fallout after the stars' salary walkout. It's a treat for a guy like me who grew up on this show to see and hear from the crew members and get a better sense of the show's place in TV history. They even covered the production's use of miniatures in the final season when the supply of disposable Chargers dried up; an esoteric bit of trivia that doesn't get mentioned a lot.
