Stupid and laughable
africe21 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Had good premise but totally fell apart. I tolerated all I could. The most bothersome part was the witch casting her spell. How the hell can she ask jesus for protection while using black magic to kill? Sorry! Can't happen. And the ending is so stupid you'll wish for your time back that you wasted on this joke.

Strange and mesmerizing film, loved it
lucialoup28 September 2023
My husband and I watched this film recently and were both completely mesmerized! It is strange and eerie in the best of ways, and you have no idea where it's going while you're watching. From the creepy first scene, the entire atmosphere is captivating-- stunning landscapes and weird architectural interiors-- and it's a beauty cinematically too. We loved the locations in Chiapas and we thought the script was fantastic too. The soundtrack by JG Thirlwell was appropriately beguiling. Would highly recommend, not only to people in search of psychological horror movies, which this excelled at. Loved it!
