I cannot remember ever having previously rated a film with a score 1. But this one really deserved it. Despite the descriptive blurb's claim that it represents an analysis of the relations between the powerful bourgeoisie and their subservient servants, what is does show is two quite repellent figures walking aimlessly across a barren, forbidding landscape.
They go nowhere. Having unfurled a short piece of runner, they walk along it, get to the end, and don't know what to do. Sort of typifying the writer of this short film.
