Quite good
alexouli8516 May 2013
This movie doesn't deserve it 5 star rating, it deserves something better.

It's an honest approach to how isolated and locked people are now days, and how difficult it is for them to make an initial contact and then move over, the presented dialogues can occur to anyone.

It's a good attempt on how sometimes it requires just opening up and find yourself and why not someone else that sees life from the same perspective.

Raw and honest and better that other high rated movies that are promoted more than this one

it was something real and good
demmtr0711 May 2013
it was quite good. you know is what we need to see. without drama and illness and accidents. actually it was something real and good. it is like we talk to a friend. a friend who doesn't know us so good. so we are not afraid to talk for our deep emotions. i think that you are going to feel bored in a way , by watching that film. but in the end.. you are going to say.. " oh my god.. this is me.. or this was me"! you would be relieved.. so the plot : a woman and a man meet each other and they spend a night together talking about their lives. it reminds me a little bit of " before sunrise".. without the romance and enforced by more cynicism.

Stilted and annoying
Studiobird21 September 2013
Sorry, I know some people out there loved the simplicity of this film but by the two hundredth time there was a pregnant pause after every single short, punctuated line was spoken before the other actor said their line, I was irritated and annoyed beyond belief. The timing is non existent in this high school assignment of a movie. The dialogue is so contrived you can easily predict what the actors are about to say. If they could edit out the silences during the dialogue it would make this film a whole lot shorter. But even then it would still be annoying long.

Each actor is a mirror image of the other. Their personalities are identical, their 3 word sentences to each other are essentially the same and far, far too repetitive.

Nice little piece of art
antoniomarty22 March 2013
I saw this movie the other day, at home, choosing this brand new tittle over like fifty others waiting for a first watch. The reason I chose this one is simple. The poster and the tittle talk about human relationships, traveling and maybe - just maybe - love. That's enough for me.

I have to say that no one could honestly say this is a great movie. It doesn't have to be either. It's just a nice little story trying to find its place. And it does find its place, as long as one can figure out how fascinating is to depict yourself in the eyes of a stranger.

Everyone is a stranger in an airport. This story deals with this simple truth, and keeps it simple. Simple and warm. As the dialogue, as the tone. Words and ideas are the main theme here. Everything else is left aside, specially sophistication or cynicism.

The result, from my point of view, is a nice little piece of art, of true human contact, of genuinely funny entertainment. The boy and the girl talk about themselves, and may discover something in the way. Does anyone ask for more in a production like this? Not me.

Just bad
TefyArevalo14 March 2013
This movie is just bad! Totally predictable and cliché in so many ways. why do they keep making movies about relationships built over night in weird circumstances? It just worked for Before Sunrise! Maybe one or two more...

Beside the cliché plot and script, the girls performance is awful and his is not the far behind either.

They are some scenes that just don't work, it seems like the director was trying to hard...

In the first 8 minutes you already know you are about to loose 82 minutes of your life. Do your self a favor and Don't.

Nice ride watching the predictable story unfold
roberthook119 May 2013
This is a story about a complicated girl and a complicated boy randomly meeting in an airport then in the span of one night develop a deep emotional and personal relationship. Not likely. In real life this will never happen which makes this a fairytale of sorts. From the moment you hit play you know exactly where it's going. You could drive a mach truck through some of the holes in the plot but still it's a nice ride watching characters develop and the story unfold. Actually, it's a refreshing change from most of the romantic films of late. No sex or even one nude shot. It's mostly all dialog between the two main characters and it builds and keeps you into it for over hour and half. That is actually pretty impressive in itself.

Palm Trees in Denver ???
cekadah31 January 2014
Palm trees do not grow in Denver, Co.

And that leads to the problem in this flick. The two leading characters seem out of step with each other. The dialog is mostly labored and not believable. It's almost as if they are tolerating each other from start to finish. It's like the director found two actors with absolutely no chemistry between them and to accent it he put palm trees in Denver!

Yes they play all over that giant and weirdly empty hotel - nobody notices? They project an image of a growing interest in each other through their soul searching conversations ---- but it just doesn't work. They simply seem at odds with one another throughout.

And a city with palm trees can not pass for Denver !!

Enjoyable and Memorable
rick7475-678-6871642 June 2013
I really enjoyed this movie about two direction less people who find direction in each other. As the movie develops we begin to care for these two nameless people as they struggle to define each other. It's a fun film for a rainy day if you like some quiet reflection and thoughtfulness.

Of course, Alex Hannant, is a very pretty woman to watch and her character is intrigued by quirky unassuming Matt Jones. They playfully provoke each other, testing each other's limits, and discovering their own selves.

There is no sex, drugs, or violence, just a lot of poignant provocation.

I had a god time watching it.

Just Hear Me Out
mythingiscupcakes2 November 2016
While this Indie film may not be the most cinematically pleasing and may not have the most iconic and unique plot line, this film is one of the most memorable and true pieces that I have seen in a while. The characters, while not given names, occupations, or much background at all, are built up to convey people that can be seen in everyday life. As a teenager, but really as a person, struggling with love, the perils of everyday life and myself, this film is incredibly easy to relate to and the characters are, in a way, brilliant. This perfectly crafted love, or rather like, story demonstrates how opposites attract yet like substances combine. Both Him and Her have their individualities, yet together they create a whole being, a unique, whole being. The plot line, while unrealistic, gives hope to those living their everyday lives, while spastically critiquing it's own existence. The script, the pregnant pauses are beautifully crafted and add a sense of realism and care to the otherwise sarcastic, jadeful script. I, by chance, chose to watch this endearing film, and I have since actively chosen to watch it again. I recommend this film to anyone who feels self- doubt, loneliness, despair, lack of self-worth, self-consciousness, and in essence, anyone human. Parts of this script put into words what I couldn't do for myself. In all honesty, this film may not deserve a 10 star rating. The plot line is classic, unoriginal, even cheesy at points. The film quality is good, but nowhere near great. The staging is, once again, good, but not great. However, the characters and the script are beautifully written and acted. They are relatable and honest. I can see bits and pieces of myself within these characters. And for the truth, the honesty, the real, and the good, this film deserves every praise it is given.

Good and enjoyable
mihai-sorin-pana21 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Of course the movie is not for people interested in sex , fortunately... It is just an "adventure" between two that is leading to love ... The dialogs are interesting and this movie proves once more that you don't need extraordinary special effects to make a good movie ! At the end you'll find the difference between love and sex ... There are a lot that complain that were bored , maybe the action , mostly of words was not what they expected... The actors are not high rated Hollywood stars but they managed well with the script ... and it is so beautiful to see how you can get in love with somebody only by talking with him/her.

Really something real and good
kajvanzanten16 October 2017
The whole movie i expected something bad was gonna happen......(I think its because of all the action and thrillers I've seen) It just really is something real and good. A small love story about two people who meet at the airport. No action, no drama, no killing or other horrible things. Just a great movie!
