You Shoot A Few Peasants And They Get All Upset
boblipton18 March 2021
Maybe you shouldn't teach them to read, snce that's how it all starts, with a raid of a printing press, where the men get shot and the women, being delicate flowers and all, get sent to Siberia. There, apparently, they learn to make bombs out of snow. And there's snow everywhere and all the time in Russia.

Like the similarly named movie directed by Wallace MacCutcheon at the same time, this is actually a pretty balanced movie, pointing out that slaughtering a bunch of peasants just gets the remaining peasants upset. This one has some beautifully painted sets.
