Hot Blooded

In a Spanish town where the men all dress like bullfighters and the women like they're in a production of CARMEN, a man leaves his wife with many protestations of affection.... and then she spots him canoodling in a gondola with a woman who smokes.

This really looks like they borrowed the costumes from a production of Bizet's opera, and all the people in it behave like stereotypical Gypsies; the name of the movie in English is GYPSY BLOOD, which I think it likely no coincidence. Otherwise, it's a typical French production from the year it was released.
