The Exploding Meatball Sub (#6.20)

Warning: Spoilers
Marshall and Lily show once again the greatness of their relationship. They do also show that they didn't become one, but are indeed individuals. Individuals who sometimes want different things, but they still always come back to each other to support and don't just concentrate on their own needs. Something that Ted and Zoey's relationship obviously doesn't have. I am still pretty interested how they will end up breaking up.

The second story about Barney planning a meatball sandwich revenge on Marshall is pretty funny. Robin's reaction of saying "What is wrong with you?" was a perfect description of him

Another Quality Episodr

Neil Patrick Harris knocks it out if the park once again as Barney Stinson as How I Met Your Mother gives us another quality episode.

Plot In A Paragraph: Despite Zoey still opposing the new GNB headquarters being built on the Arcadian Hotel site, Ted and Zoey's personal relationship is going well. Meanwhile Marshall quits his job at GNB to work in a non-paying volunteer position at the NRDC and Zoey managing to get the Landmark Preservation Society to agree to a hearing over the GNB project may change everything on both sides. In the background, Barney seems to be taking Marshall leaving GNB the hardest.

Any episode that features the brilliant Neil Patrick Harris's character Barney Stinson in the main storyline is always excellent. I could go on and on about the brilliance of this episode, and in particular Neil Patrick Harris but I won't bore you with it. At least it appears that Zoe is not the children's mother, so hopefully she will be leaving soon. Behind Barney Stinson, Marshall and Lily are my favourite characters. However this episode showcased them both at their most selfish. Marshall quitting his job at GNB, for a nonpaying role without discussing it with Lily was very selfish, and Lily ditching Ted at the airport to go to Spain without telling anyone, was almost as bad as leaving Marshall to try her hand at a painting scholarship in San Francisco at the end of season one.

I like the bit where the meatball sub exploded in Marshall's face
