I don't completely like the direction it went in this episode. They are trying to show us how unimportant animal lives are. Torturing all the mammals in a lab is completely fine to them, the cops dare to speak about violence to a group protecting other living beings from violence and apparently an animal rights activist is just a bad person altogether that deserves to die. Of course they also bring a child into it to make him look worse. Because of course the lives of animals don't matter at all, and the life of a child is even more important than that of an adult (would they get the same emotions if that guy performing experiments would die? not of the same strength)

Other than that I love it. I am very interested in all the story lines. I liked the idea of Jane Travers and Alan and am looking forward to see what happens with his book.

The acting is on high level once again. Especially outstanding was the scene between Mark Wenborn and his wife. Very powerful.

I think I would like the show much more if they would not put down animal welfare and rights. But I guess it is a great representation of what most of our society thinks these days.

I actually think that if it goes the way I think it will go, I will be upset about the outcome but at the same time will love the whole idea of it.
