Neal ran away from home and arrived in New York when he was eighteen. He had already forged the bonds, and the case file was given to Peter at that time. Neal was on the run for eight years and yet Peter said he chased him for only three years.
Neal met Mozzie 8 years ago - should be 13. Adler disappeared 7 years ago - should be around 12.

The newspaper clippings on Peter's desk during the opening have article bodies which don't match the headlines. The headlines are about the hunt for Adler, but the bodies are about a computer publishing conference.
Fractal antennae were not invented until 1988. While vaguely similar log-type antennae appeared in the 1950s (which is before the term "fractal" was even coined), the applications for fractals in electronics were not fully understood until the computer age.
The FBI pin board with Neal's exploits for 2004 states, among others, "Neil forges deeds, identity to rent Baron Trump his own property." Barron Trump was only born in 2006.
At the end of the episode, after the sun has risen, Peter holds up an origami swan made by Alex from a receipt and says that the receipt "is from today." Peter and Neal have been talking through the night, so the receipt cannot be from that day.
The conclusion of the episode (and the subsequent story arc) completely misinterprets the entire point of a fractal antenna - which is to be able to send and receive a wide bandwidth of signals. In short, a fractal antenna would do the exact opposite of what Neal says, namely "to correspond to a specific frequency."
