In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) the mantle of Captain America has been given to Sam Wilson after Steve Rogers retires. Sam is played by Anthony Mackie who plays Hakim in this movie.
The film makes reference to Seberg suing Newsweek for $200,000. A Paris court ordered Newsweek to pay $10,800 in damages.
