Lyn's decision to organise a blood drive in honour of Ringo is probably well-intentioned but extraordinarily poorly timed, especially when she starts waxing lyrical about how he died saving others, ignoring who exactly it was he saved them from.By the end of the episode, she's finally worked out that not everyone thinks "She feels really bad about it" lets her daughter off the hook over killing someone.
The Kate/Declan/Brennan love triangle continues to exist solely of a bunch of people who don't seem that interested in each other.Only Declan's more subtle way of expressing his disapproval elevates it above complete boredom.Oh-and Lou's back.It's got to the point where it's hard to remember when he's there and when he isn't and even the writers don't think it merits more than a couple of lines of dialogue.
