Filming took place in under a month.
The film was originally supposed to also have a 65 minute 'full length' cut that would include cut-scene voice-overs as a homage to "Lost Highway" as well as a firefight at the end as a homage to "Taxi Driver". The film however took longer to produce than expected, and the budget simply didn't allow for these extra scenes. As the UTSC Film Festival had a 30 minute limit on submissions, the 30 minute cut (now the only cut) was finished and submitted and the 65 minute version was ultimately abandoned.
The director, Lee Foster, wrote this after taking a University course on Film-noir and credits his professor for the inspiration. He also credits the 1945 film "Detour".
The white car that the main character drives is actually the Director's car.
The film won two awards at the UTSC Film Festival in 2008. Lauren Molloy won Best Actress for her role as Mercedes, and Lee Foster won Best Screenplay.
