- The tribe suffers a devastating blow when they find the camp in ashes after a fire, and the loyalty of an alliance is put to the test as Libertad heads to tribal council.
- Previously on...: Sash and Brenda thought they were kings of the beach. Marty sought to launch an all-guys alliance at last week's reward challenge, which got Fabio and Benry on board. Marty went home, but the natives are becoming nervous about Brenda and Sash's power.
Back at camp: Brenda says Benry, Fabio and Dan have seen that she and Sash aren't on their side, so it's only a matter of time before they go. Holly talks to Jane about how Brenda and Sash have all the control. She tries to talk Jane into an alliance of her, Jane, Chase and NaOnka, and they'd need two more people. Holly says she's ready to make a power move, noting, "Something has to change, and it has to change soon."
The next morning, Fabio suggests moving the fire closer to the shelter because of the looming rain. They try to build a canopy around the fire to protect it from the rain.
Holly is feeling saucy, talking about how she's reinvigorated. She pulls Benry aside and talks to him about how Brenda and Sash duped him. She tries talking him out of being part of Brenda and Sash's group. He tells us he's "all for" Holly's plan.
Jane hits up NaOnka, who agrees that Brenda is over-thinking the game. Jane says Brenda has turned into a villain, and NaOnka agrees that "now's the time to get her out." Holly tries to talk Chase into turning on Brenda and Sash, but he's still focused on getting Benry out first. Holly tells him he's wrong about Benry.
Reward challenge: Split into two groups of five, each team has to try to cross a distance along the beach using a couple of barrels and 10 planks of wood and some rope, without any of them touching the ground.
The yellow team -- Dan, Sash, Brenda, Holly and Benry -- falls off, giving the other team a free pass to calmly cross the finish line. The other team wins pizza, brownies and soft drinks after a "volcano-boarding" trip.
Jane, Kelly, Fabio, NaOnka and Chase go on their reward, sliding down the side of a volcano. Fabio asks what everyone thinks is going on at camp, and Chase says, "I don't care." Cut to a shot of the fire and the canopy having gone up in flames. Nearly the entire camp has burned down. One of the wooden chests that burned had all of the tribe's food in it. Benry calls it "a day from hell" while the other players are enjoying their pizza picnic.
At the reward, the conversation turns toward the question of who's in charge. NaOnka quickly pulls Fabio away and tells him everyone's gunning for Brenda. He likes the idea.
Back at camp, Chase decides to go ahead and tell Brenda about the big plan that's happening around her. Brenda tells us she's isn't fazed and doesn't "have to do anything crazy to beat them."
Chase then goes and talks to NaOnka, saying it's most important to get Benry out first. NaOnka insists on Brenda. NaOnka goes to Benry and tells his Chase is all over the place. NaOnka spreads the word that Chase can't be trusted.
Immunity challenge: Players have to stand on a platform over water, holding onto a rope. Every few minutes, they'll have to move further down the rope to make it more difficult. The last person standing wins. Sash and Kelly fall into the water rather quickly. Holly is third out. Brenda and Dan are out next, followed by Fabio. Jane doesn't seem to have any problem with it at all. NaOnka falls out as Benry struggles.
Down to Benry, Jane and Chase, Benry finally falls out. Chase and Jane are the final two. Chase tells her he's secure and isn't going anywhere. Jane considers dropping out, but Jeff tells her, "Don't you dare drop out of this challenge." Not long after, Chase falls into the water, leaving Jane with immunity.
Back at camp: Jane is feeling good and says that unless Brenda gets an idol and plays it, she'll be going home. Chase and Sash talk about getting Benry out next.
NaONka flat-out tells Sash that Brenda has a target on her back. He admits to us that he's starting to worry now, for the first time in the game.
Chase tells Brenda that NaOnka is the one who "screwed it up" and is vowing to vote for Brenda. Brenda says she doesn't want to scramble and appear desperate.
Brenda tries to talk Sash into letting her take the idol and he says he'll have to consider using it to save Brenda. Brenda says she's "furious that NaOnka would make such a dumb move." She's hopeful Sash will give her the idol so they can blindside NaOnka.
Tribal Council: Sash says he's "more out of the loop now than I've been since the game started." Chase agrees. Brenda says she didn't want to vote Marty out at the last Tribal, but she had to proves to her "peeps" that she'd do it. She says it looks like there's now a break in the alliance "because NaOnka wants to jump ship." NaOnka says "it was not me." Jeff asks Kelly to weigh in and she says she's completely out of the loop on what's going on. Brenda insists that it makes sense that NaOnka is the one who wanted to jump ship.
Brenda has trouble saying she didn't scramble, and Jeff asks her if scrambling is beneath her. She says it's not her style (Alina whispers to Marty, "She's so irritating.")
The vote: Holly writes down Brenda's name, saying, "You should've scrambled." Brenda writes down NaOnka's name, calling her an enemy and adding, "I thought you were my friend."
Jeff reads the votes: Brenda, NaOnka, Benry, Brenda, Brenda, Brenda ... and the 11th person voted out and third member of the jury is Brenda.
Brenda's last words: "I'm still in disbelief, really, at how outplayed I was by the person that I trusted the most, NaOnka. It's just funny how the game changed so fast for me: One day I was at the top and now I'm out."
