The Sad Truth About Prostitution
cinemaniac200225 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
This is a down and dirty reality TV-style expose on street hookers. Not for the faint of heart, though some faces are blocked out, the sad truth about women selling sexual services in degrading ways is detailed unapologetically.

What is most fascinating about it is that it was produced at all. Real hookers speak candidly about "the oldest profession," pointing out some truths about the human condition.

For example, people can look at it however they want to, but the fact is that women have been prostituting themselves in many ways and on many levels for decades and beyond. Hearing what these women had to say about their work is a stark reminder that you don't have to be working on the street to be a whore. Begs one to question: are these women any worse than people who date others or marry for money?

It would seem that actually, they are far more honest. They know what they're doing and why and they admit it, which is more than most people ever seem to do.
