Learn more- The only point of adherence to the ground of a motorbike is represented by about 5 cm of rubber. Several forces converge at that point, including the propulsive force, the centrifugal force, and the force of gravity, the only one that allows the motorbike to stay on the ground.
A delicate balancing act managed by one man, the rider, who adds to these physical forces the weight of his own talent, the gravity of his own thoughts, the ultimate responsibility for victory or defeat.
A 6-episodes series to tell the raw tale of WorldSBK live. Each episode is focused on some of the actors who move between the paddock, the pit lane and the starting grid: drivers, mechanics, stable bosses, judges, race judges, doctors.
On one hand the sporting tale of the protagonists, on the other hand the choral tale of the insiders.
Light will be shed on the backstage of a world made up of fantastic biographies, of people who have dedicated their entire lives to the crazy world of Superbike.
We will delve into the personalities of some of the protagonists by entering into their private lives, researching the reasons for their desire to compete in their childhood and their relationship with their family. With interviews and archive images 'pieces' of Superbike history will be told.
We will follow all eight rounds of the Superbike World Championship, from Australia to Portugal, and with a cinematographic approach we will tell the races and the behind-the-scenes stories that TV cannot tell. We will have free access to all the live TV images while Superbike commentator Michael Hill will write dedicated commentaries for us that will amplify the topics covered in each episode.
