I couldn't finish watching this seemingly high-school produced and casted version of Much Ado About Nothing. The audio effects were the most distracting due to low quality microphones, the cinematography was a bit too jumpy for me, but the two main characters of Benedick and Beatrice were very decent actors. Claudio and Hero weren't terrible, but the others were just so obviously amateurs. The soundtrack was fun and modern, but there's just no "updating" Shakespearean screenplay and their attempts to throw in modern words and vernacular bothered me. Overall a decent production for an obviously low budget. If the microphones used were even a little better quality it would have greatly increased the overall quality of the film. A contemporary generation may benefit more from this production than anyone else.
