This show is another set of episodes one can find at the website Cinemassacre. The site also features many monster movie reviews, film documentaries and the most well known thing that comes from the site is The Angry Video Game Nerd. There is also a show called Board James on it as well that fits in with this one and AVGN. This one though is the weakest of the three shows I have seen (there is also something called over analyzers). That is not to say it is bad, most of the problems that stem from this show is the fact that a lot of the episodes are incredibly short. There will be times you think the ad that precedes it is longer. Still, it is funny for the time it is with us as James Rolfe (AVGN, Board James, BS man) does a very good angry individual.
The concept of the show is simple. The BS man rants about something that is in his opinion, well BS. That is not to hard to understand now is it. James is the only character of this show as there is no Mike Matei doing Spider-man, Bugs Bunny and a plethora of other characters he has done on AVGN or as Motherf----r Mike on Board James. No, with these you mainly get just James going on a rant, though in a later episode he reveals the character and it is surprisingly disturbing. This one seems the most simple of the shows I watch, nothing really that complicated going into the making of it. However, James' BS character is a bit to much like AVGN.
During the shows run he went over a variety of topics such as security stickers on DVDs, to much cream cheese on his bagel, and printers just to name a few. I have to say his one on printers, x-mas and DVD cases had me rolling because they are so true. Many of the earlier episodes were very short, some not even making a minute, however they do get more detailed as the series progressed. I cannot be sure if there are going to be any new episodes of this one when James gets finished with his movie, but there are plenty of more topics out there that would make fine BS episodes.
In conclusion, this is sort of a weaker brother of the AVGN. It is funny, but it just does not differ all that much from AVGN like Board James does. Still, many of the episodes will have you nodding your head as you have probably thought the same thing yourself when encountering a hotel television for instance. So while not on par with Board James and AVGN it is still a funny show to watch, brought to you by the talented people at Cinemassacre.
