The title of this Lumiere film translates to Firewood, which is pretty funny since that's exactly what we see. It's not really firewood but instead there's some large stacks of wood that are on fire. I'm going to guess that the people in the background are meant to be some sort of on-lookers. I'm also going to guess that the purpose of this movie was just to show a fire on the screen and hope that people would pay to see it. This type of actuality movie was probably mixed with some thought as it seems the fire was set on purpose and under control. For the most part this is entertaining enough and especially if you like to watch things burn.
