As a non-climber, I was quite intrigued by "Free Solo", due to it's showcase of Alex Hannold's Mindset, along with the thoughts of other climbers featured - not to mention the sport is visually stunning, if we are talking cinema-wise, so a big screen and a good sound system is a Must.
A couple of other climbing documentaries later I figured I wanted to see Hannold's ascent of "Half Dome". and since this series documented it in the first Episode, I decided to give it a try. Not only the Ep was great, but it also convinced me to check out the rest of the show, and I was Not disappointed.
With that said,"Point of no Return" stood out from the rest, and while I found it really engaging anyway, one thing in particular made me actually Rate it here (I usually don't rate separate Ep's). Personally, I think it's Especially worthwhile if you are an aspiring climber yourself, and I recommend to see it Even if the rest of the show does not interest you (which doesn't feel like a possibility for somebody into the sport).
Anyway, I didn't see any other reviews for this show, so I truly recommend it to anybody interested in climbing, or anybody who wants to take a look at the philosophy of people daring enough to partake in the sport.
