Triassic Attack (2010)

Goofs

Triassic Attack

Edit

Continuity

When Wyatt is running from the raptor skeleton and runs into the cow field, he stops behind a cow that is facing to his right. He ducks under it to see the raptor. The cow he is looking under is now facing to his left as indicated by the udder. When he then stands up to run and falls into the cow patty, the cow is again facing to his right.
When the tyrannosaurus skeleton attacks the campsite, wit picks up a frat boy and flings him into the air over the lake. We see him flying through the air, but when the scene cuts to the lake surface, there is a splash but no body hitting the water.
If you listen closely you can hear the lead actors natural British or Scottish accent come through at times.

Factual errors

None of the dinosaurs whose skeletons were re-animated actually lived during the Triassic Period, instead living 150,000+ years later, in the Cretaceous.
The university president and Emma Roundtree repeatedly refer to the discipline and department of palaeontology as "archaeology". Archaeology refers to the study of artifacts and other human activity from the past; palaeontology refers to the study of ancient life forms (both animal and human) and their remains. Although the two disciplines often cross paths (as when excavating a site like Pompeii, where artifacts and remains are found together), they are quite distinct.
The ROTC are not equipped with Bulgarian uniforms and helmets.
In the opening credits Emilia Clarke her name is misspelled. The second i in her name is replaced by an L making it Emilla Clarke.
The ROTC cadet identifies the rocket launcher as a "RPG-29". The RPG-29 is a Russian anti-tank weapon, and is not likely to be present in any armory in the U.S. Further, the weapon indicated is actually a U.S. M72 LAW (Light Anti-tank Weapon).

Revealing mistakes

When Melissa is looking for Brian in the forest near the beginning of the film, the pteranodon skeleton lands behind her. When it turns toward her, it becomes partially transparent against the backdrop.
Anti-tank rocket rounds do not explode in a nearly flame-less puff of smoke.
When the ROTC first attempts to attack the creatures with a rocket launcher, there is no rocket in the launch tube.
