A bum sleeping on a bench wakes to find a rich gentleman has dropped a well-filled wallet. He immediately runs off to buy a fashionable suit of clothes and to spend the rest of the money having a good time. He finds hit remarkably difficult to spend it it, but fortunately some shady ladies relieve him of the burden. Im not sure what point this movie is trying to make. Are we supposed to feel sorry for the rich man who is careless with his money? The poor man who gets cheated out of it? Or is it a simple farce about the random dealings of fate? Still, there are some nice bits in it.
