Timothy Olyphant in The Office (2005)

Goofs

The Sting

The Office

Edit

Continuity

In the cold open, Michael is unable to ride Oscar's new bike and seems to have never learned how. However, in the beginning of A Benihana Christmas (2006), he rides his "new" bike into the office to donate to Toys for Tots.
When Michael is talking to the sales people in the conference room about "Danny Cordray: A Real Threat", he draws over a question mark on the whiteboard, turning it into an exclamation point. Every time the camera cuts to the reverse of the sales people and then back to Michael, the composition and shape of the exclamation point changes.

Character error

When Jim and Dwight are talking about Danny, Dwight mentions that he "works for Osprey paper over in Throop", incorrectly pronouncing the TH sound in the name. The actual town is pronounced as Troop, with the 'h' sound being silent.
When Andy is reading the Cornell Alumni Magazine, he says Dan Becker fell off the side of Mount Kilimanjaro but his Sherpa survived. The guides for Mount Kilimanjaro are called Porters, not Sherpas.
When Jim, Michael, and Dwight are in the observation room and the topic of the movie The Sting (1973) comes up, Michael not only mistakenly refers to its title as "The Stinger", he is also wrong when he says the movie is about bank robbers.
