- Jules Callaghan: [hears the phone ringing] I bet that's the police. Maybe they want to help.
- Gunman: Yeah, you'd think so, but, you know, no. In the big picture, they're just puppets. There's nothing they can do.
- Jules Callaghan: [after the gunman tells Jules to answer the phone] Hello?
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: So much for your day off, huh?
- Jules Callaghan: [whispering] All right, I'm just gonna change this, okay? Don't try to be the tough guy, I know what it feels like. I've been shot before. I know how much pain you're in.
- Steve: So, how do you like the date so far?
- Jules Callaghan: You really know how to keep a girl on her toes, huh?
- Steve: Wait till you see what I... have planned for the next one.
- Steve: [recovering in hospital from gunshot wound] Last few months, uh, doing a lot of thinking. Just about, uh, the big picture.
- Jules Callaghan: Yeah, I have, too.
- Steve: Just family. Future and stuff. What I'm guessing is, uh, our big pictures aren't the same. 'Cause you're in mine, but, uh... I don't think I'm in yours. Hey. It's okay. It's all good. There's no regrets. Well, almost no regrets.
- Jules Callaghan: What do you mean?
- Steve: Never got to finish our ice cream.
- [last lines]
- Steve: [whispering] Just one favor.
- Jules Callaghan: Anything.
- Steve: Promise me... keep singing.
- Sam Braddock: [entering restaurant with gun pointed at hostages who've begun to turn on the gunman] Everybody, do what the man says! Drop your weapons and go back to where you were!
- [to the gunman]
- Sam Braddock: It's all right buddy, you can stand down, I got this area of operations contained.
- [to hostages]
- Sam Braddock: Go back to where you were now, all of you! Do it now!
- Gunman: Who are you?
- Sam Braddock: [pulls out dog tags from under his shirt] I'm Master Corporal Sam Braddock, Special Forces. I'm here to help.
- Gunman: You knew this place was a front for terrorists?
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [on radio] Sam, don't lie to him. He's sensitive to deception.
- Sam Braddock: I know what it's like to feel afraid.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [on radio from in truck] Eddie, you find anything at the group home?
- Ed Lane: Boss, we're in the basement. Davis is building something here. And it doesn't look like any kind of bomb I've ever seen.
- Kevin 'Wordy' Wordsworth: [taking pictures] Have a look.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [with Spike - looking at pictures being received] Are those fire extinguishers?
- Kevin 'Wordy' Wordsworth: Uh-huh. They're all empty.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Watches, pesticides?
- Mike Scarlatti: What's that on the floor?
- [Wordy takes and sends another picture]
- Mike Scarlatti: Castor beans.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Talk to me, Spike.
- Mike Scarlatti: Castor beans and pesticides: major components in both ricin and sarin.
- Kevin 'Wordy' Wordsworth: Nerve gas.
- Mike Scarlatti: Fire extinguishers hold compressed gas. Watch is a timer.
- Ed Lane: He's made a chemical bomb and it's already out there.
- Jules Callaghan: [on phone] Winnie, it's Jules.
- Winnie Camden: Oh, hey! How are you enjoying your day off?
- Jules Callaghan: I've got shots fired.
