Goofs

The Blood on His Hands

The Mentalist

Edit

Continuity

When Patrick Jane sees the books in Celia's room and picks up Bret Stiles' book *Visualize Life*, it has a bright orange piece of paper as a bookmark. The close up shot of the book spine shows a white piece of paper. It cuts back to Jane removing the orange sticky paper from the book and flipping it over several times.
In the scene where Jane pops a paper bag to startle a cult lecturer, the lecturer is reading from a book. In the long shots, he holds the book in his left hand and gesticulates with his right. In the close-up shot, the book is in his right hand and while using his left hand to scan the book as he reads.

Factual errors

When the cars crashed into each other, airbags should have deployed.

Revealing mistakes

Two cars are in a significant crash, both are new enough to have air bags, and since they are owned by the FBI they should be working; yet no air bags deploy.
