Sort of Fogged Up

We know that a significant member of the cast is going to be showing up. As the investigation goes on, we find a reason for the death of the woman Harry loved. She was too close to criminal activity going on in Budapest. Young women are being used for a really unusual purpose. but I couldn't rank this too hight because of some pretty unbelievable characterization.

This hit the mark.

The search is on to find Anna's killer, despite the obstructions from the Hungarian Police.

After the shock of the first part they deliver another really quite brilliant episode. It is such a complex story, but it is so ultimately rewarding.

Tibor Orban is the standout character here, Ivan Kamaras is wonderful as the obstinate Detective. Incredibly handsome and charismatic, he's captivating.

It's all about the story, they didn't need to pack this out with gore and body bits, no shock factor was needed here. This was just a mix of superb writing, acting and production values.

This was terrific. 10/10

Each season this show keeps getting more ridiculous and lazy
msghall30 July 2021
The last few shows have given us characters involved in nearly identical situations - Nikki keeps getting hoodwinked by charming men or persuasive women who all have evil intentions and Harry naively keeps tipping off the villains.

But this two parter piles on a new set of ridiculousness. Last episode, finding his lover killed, Harry picks up the murdering knife to defend himself against the actual perpetrator, then runs out in public holding the knife in a threatening fashion. Just like has been done a thousand times before in visual arts since the 30's.

It doesn't end there. Convenient plot situations keep arising until you realize that the writers are not of the same skillset that wrote for the earlier Amanda Burton version. Instead, lazy scripts seem aimed at the more gullible of viewers and that's not good when you are not challenged.
