Comic Relief

This tiny mini-episode was simply a special for comedy based charity event Comic Relief. It is therefore purely a bit of fun and it is a pleasant bit of fun.

Comedy legend Ronnie Corbett appears and a series of jokes about his comedy past and catchphrases ensue. It is done very well and is gently amusing. It is also enjoyable to include such the great national treasure Ronnie Corbett in the history of another great national treasure - the universe of Doctor Who.

It cannot be judged in terms of drama, excitement etc and is too short to properly appreciate even as comedy but as a little humorous addition to the show it is good.

My rating: 7/10.

While she is performing maintenance on Mr Smith, a surprising guest visits Sarah Jane Smith.

Yeah, definitely filled with childish humor, again with that god damn fart joke... I have nothing to say about this mini-story, just all weird elements. I agree with "This has been the weirdest five minutes of my whole life."

6/10.

Sarah Jane, Luke, Clyde and Rani get a visit from a strange man.

Bonkers good fun this, I think you may need to be of a certain age to appreciate and enjoy all of the humour, it's like role call of Two Ronnies jokes, they mention Four Candles, The Phantom Raspberry Blower, and a few others.

I think some of the younger viewers may have been sat scratching their heads after that, but definitely chuckled at the array of fart jokes.

That was indeed a bizarre five minutes, but heaps of fun, and so good to see the wonderful Ronnie Corbett, any younger fans that don't know who he is, a wealth of comedy awaits you.

Fun, 7/10.
