Verna Felton: Hilda Crocker

Quotes

  • Ruth Henshaw : Mother, four days of sightseeing is enough. I've had it.

Lily Ruskin : Oh well, dear. Now, she'll be leaving in a few days more.

Ruth Henshaw : [leaning on Hilda's shoulder]  My aching feet.

Hilda Crocker : Yours? I've got a corn plaster on every toe. My shoes are so full of cotton, I think I'm marching through Georgia!

  • Lily Ruskin : [opening the door and entering the living room]  Come on, Hilda

Ruth Henshaw : [after Hilda has entered, covered in filth and with hair completely unkempt]  What happened?

Lily Ruskin : Hilda had a little accident. Nancy was taking her picture, near one of the tar pits.

Hilda Crocker : Step back a little, she said. A little bit more, she said. HELP, I said.

Matt Henshaw : Are you all right, Hilda?

Hilda Crocker : I guess so. But I did get one compliment. The guide said I was the youngest thing ever pulled out of the La Brea Tar Pits.
