When an old woman dies at a Milan fashion show it might not seem like an obvious case for Myka and Pete to investigate but it soon turns out that she was a young model who disappeared two days previously, and she isn't the first model to disappear. They ask questions and another young model ages in front of Pete's eyes. The next major fashion show is in New York so they go undercover; Myka as a model and Pete as her PA. Here they try to undercover just who might be aging the model and what artefact they could be using. The case puts Myka in extreme danger. Away from the main story Todd, the boy Claudia met in the previous episode, is texting her; Artie suggests she should give him a chance.
This was a fun episode. Setting an episode in the fashion world might not be all that original but it is an industry that makes itself ripe for such treatment. It was enjoyable seeing Myka going undercover as a model; Joanne Kelly was on really good form in the role... and didn't look out of place on the catwalk. While the nature of the artefact wasn't a total surprise it still had some nice details. The side story involving Claudia was enjoyable; it was nice to see her involved in something away from work with Artie acting like a father figure. The only weak point of the episode for me was when we see the rapid aging; the effects weren't the best; thankfully it usually happens off camera. Overall another enjoyable episode that fans of the series should enjoy.
