In the beginning there is a dancer and a girl watching the dancer. The first time the watcher appears, she is smoking a cigarette and it's almost half smoked, the second time she appears the cigarette seems to be just started.
Almost all actors and actresses in the movie have strong foreign accent and can't speak Persian fluently.
Most of the modern cars in the film are extremely rare in Iran. Also, a great percentage of people of Iran drive more classic cars from the 70's and 80's commonly known as Pride and Peykan.
There are no concrete-paved streets in Tehran, as shown at the beginning of the film.
When Mehran stops to pray at the side of the road, he holds his hands like Shiites and his foot like Sunnis.
