Factual errors

The dead woman's mother describes her as a person with a bipolar or similar disorder who found a doctor able to prescribe the right combination of medication to control the girl's symptoms. A person who fits this description would be automatically disqualified from military enlistment.
Neither ethanol nor formaldehyde smell anything like gasoline.
The cryptic notes were a garbled mixture of mathematics andbiochemsitry. The latter had many errors, such as 'Fructose-G-P', presumably for 'Fructose-6-P' (fructose-6-phosphate). It was suggested that photosynthesis might be a source of fuel but the bacterium E. coli is not a photosynthetic bacterium.

Revealing mistakes

While researching Clea Thomas, the screen on the plasma that displayed her DOD Military Service Record shows box for "Gender" was marked "Male".
In the opening scene, a woman crosses the street in front of a car which has to brake to avoid hitting her. Just before she slaps her hands on the hood of the car, you can clearly see multiple hand prints on the hood of the car from rehearsal / previous takes.
When Abby was in the lab with the book that she got from the professor it was closed tight. Then Abby shook the book and a chip fell out. The book wouldn't be able to close properly with the chip in it.

Errors in geography

The coordinates written on Thorson's arm put the location on US 95, 240 miles NW of Las Vegas, not the middle of Washington, DC.
