Bourricots sous les palmiers (1897)
Egypt is once again the location for this Lumiere Brothers film. In 1896 the company started to move outside of France and travel to various places including the United States. 1897 continued this trend with Egypt getting several films. This one here doesn't show too much but we see a bunch of men on horses who are riding around with people following them. I'm really not sure what was going on or what location we're looking at but it really does seem as if the men are getting some sort of lessons. Either way, there's really not too much to see here, although we get a beautiful image to look at as the cinematography is quite good.
