Jamie makes waves by introducing a decades-old saluting rule in his precinct, rendering him a rather unpopular sergeant, even with Eddie, until that allows catching a criminal who was impersonating officers in order to sneak into various precincts and steal guns, now caught when refusing to salute correctly. Danny pursues con artist Dickie Delaney, whom he himself shouted at an expensive restaurant, mistaking him for the legendary singer Jimmy Buffett, but is deemed simply gullible, no crime was committed, yet the real star rewards him. Frank gives NYPD Captain Terrell an ultimatum to stop using her badge to get free wares from local stores, despite her honorable intentions, but she prefers a trial. Erin worries becomes the subject of a salacious, anonymous attack on a public employee blog.
