Goofs

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2

Edit

Continuity

(at around 1h 40 mins) At the end of the movie when Bella and Edward are in the meadow together, they aren't sparkling.
(at around 1h 25 mins) When Alice kicks Aro, he can be seen flying far back behind everyone, but in the next shot he lands right back with the Voltori.
At the beginning of the movie, Edward's hair covers the mole on the right side of his neck. During the meadow scene, his hair has been cut short and you can see the mole. During Alice's vision of the future, Edward's hair is a bit longer and covers it again. His hair isn't supposed to grow.
(at around 1h) When Bella is in the cottage re-reading Alice's note, she flips it over to show the title page of Merchant of Venice. There are no smudges on it then but when she goes to the bookcase to pull down the book, she opens it to the front and puts the title page in place and now there are 2 distinct dark fingerprint smudges on the page.
(at around 18 mins) When Bella and Edward are lying together on the floor with the pillows and talking, she's on her side with her arm bent to hold her head up. Then she puts it above Edward's head when he mentions not being able to be around Emmett and Rosalie when they were first together. In the next shot, her arm is bent again.

Factual errors

(at around 5 mins) In the beginning, when Bella and Edward are running through the woods to her first feed, they pass a Dandelion rapidly blooming. We should see time go slower, not her speeding through time.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

It has been established that Alice can't see parts of the possible future which involve the werewolves. In this movie she sees wolf-related futures in some detail. However, it is also established that vampires can develop their gifts (i.e. Bella learning to project her shield outside of herself). In the books it's stated that Alice can't initially see wolves or hybrids because she has never been one, but it is possible that she developed her gift to see a species she has never been before.
(at around 4 mins) In one scene Edward's wedding ring seems to be on his right hand, but that's because we're seeing his reflection in a mirror.

Revealing mistakes

(at around 37 mins) When Jane throws the immortal child into the fire to destroy it, it's obvious that it's a doll.

Miscellaneous

(at around 29 mins) As stated by Edward, Bella's engagement ring belonged to Edward's mother before Edward was turned, so it is human-made and contains no special vampiric qualities. Therefore the ring should have been destroyed or at least severely damaged by the unhuman pressure put on it when Bella and Emmett arm wrestled, but it remained unscathed.

Errors in geography

(at around 1h 5 mins) When Bella is on the highway back from Seattle, the speed limit marks 80kmph. The US uses miles, not kilometers.

Plot holes

(at around 1h 16 mins) The biggest crime is if vampires reveal themselves to humans. While reading Edward's mind, Aro should have known that Bella's father knows partially about vampires as he has met Renesmee too. This would have been reason enough to kill the Cullens.
It's confirmed a newborn vampire is stronger than a regular one. However, Bella has to team up with Edward to kill Aro in the vision.

It may be due to the fact she didn't have much of her own blood left when she turned.

Character error

(at around 12 mins) Vampires aren't alive and they don't breathe. During Bella and Jacob's fight over him imprinting on Renesmee, Bella can be seen out of breath and breathing a few times.
(at around 47 mins) When Esme and Carlisle arrive with their last witness Alistair, Edward informs Carlisle that 18 vampires have arrived, right after this scene Bella says in her voice over: "We opened our home to eighteen vampires." This is not correct because after Alistair arrived it should have been 19.
(at around 1h 40 mins) When Bella and Edward are in the field, she shows him her new gift. In one of the scenes she's on the beach with her towel on, and her wedding ring. In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011), when she has the towel on she has no ring.
(at around 1h 13 mins) Aro has a pattern of attacking covens to 'collect' vampires with special talents. Yet, when he takes his army to Fork, the only vampires who have extra powers are the brother and sister in his inner circle. Meanwhile, half of the Cullen crew are superheroes.
(at around 30 mins) Renesmee is seen rapidly growing against a height chart. When she "stops" and Carlisle puts a book flat above her head to mark where her height is, the book is at least an inch above the top of her head.
