The Jailhouse Job

Factual errors

There are two factual mistakes in the episode concerning temperature. When the crew is planning the escape route for Nate, Parker suggests going through the furnace room. Nate then disagrees with her, claiming the temperature is too hot at 150 degrees. Parker states: "The average human can withstand that for 27 seconds" which is clearly untrue. For example, the regular sauna temperature in Finland is 80°C which is 176 degrees in Fahrenheit. Also, Nate's jacket made of a garbage bag freezes quickly during the escape, even though the sensor displays the temperature is 33°F, which is not even the freezing point.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Characters repeatedly speak of a far harsher prison in Salem. The only correctional facility in Salem, Massachusetts was the Essex County Jail at the corner of Bridge and St. Peter Streets, which was closed in the late 1980s and is currently the Great Escape restaurant.

On the other hand, there is no Rockford Private Correctional Facility either. This is a fictional series where quite a lot of locations and people do not exist in the real world.
In The 12-Step Job, S1E10, he and Parker are confined to rehab alongside the team's mark, financier Hurley, as part of a scheme to recover money Hurley swindled from a charity. Nate, a self-proclaimed functioning alcoholic, soon suffers symptoms of withdrawal. Here he's looking healthy, without withdrawal symptoms, without comment on how he's managed to stay sober, focused and purposeful without a drink.

This is two years after Hurley, and there are multiple hints Nate has been at Rockford for a while, ample time to undergo withdrawal and some semblance of recovery. It simply would not be shown as it is irrelevant to the plot. As to staying sober, U.S. prisons do not serve alcohol, so Nate wouldn't have had a choice in the matter. Worth noting he immediately resumes drinking as soon as he is out.
During the prison break Nate leads Billy Epping to believe he folded a newspaper 8 times to keep a door from locking down . Fact is you can not fold a newspaper or even a single sheet of a newspaper more than 7 times.

This is only true if folding by halves. Paper can be folded eight or more times otherwise.
