Inspiring challenge, captivating processes, white magic, emotional moments, great judgement but unfair elimination

Almighty nature, the mother of all ideas. What an inspiring challenge before the finale ! Abdi's piece and process was interesting even if I think it was a bit out of topic. It was too humanist and I couldn't connect its concept with the materials they had to work with. But it was touching and he succeeded in catching his body and soul on a simple piece of paper. As for Jaclyn I was expecting her to run naked in the wild and befriend kinky mushrooms but my fantasy didn't happen. Instead she went out of his comfort zone and tried something different. There was something meditative about it but it lacked the provocation we got used to. Moreover her cold didn't help so I'm sad she wasn't at her best. Carpenter Miles did it again but this time he took things to a whole new level. I'm amazed by how quickly he can build a whole wooden structure and use voodoo substances. He's almost like a crazy scientist. Nicole did her magic too and she's really skilled when it comes to combine materials. She's a beautiful and natural alchemist. Moreover it's really appealing to see how joyful and passionate she's. I also could relate to the creative coma she mentioned and I'm glad the show was the right thing for her because there're moments in life when you just lose faith in the future and wonder what you should do next. It was also interesting to learn more about her personal story and what was the substance behind her strange piece. As for Peregrine her sculpture was really disappointing because of its poor execution. Moreover considering her vivid personality I wonder why she needed Miles advices, the last person she should trust. As a colorful flower she definitely had what it takes to feed her creativity with earthy ideas. Last but not least for once the judges made great comments but one of them was slightly hypocrite. It was about Abdi's comics questionable style. In some way he was right as some of his pieces were disappointing because he's young and the best is yet to come. Otherwise I can only question their decision because the last elimination wasn't fair. It was specially surprising considering the results are quite predictable most of the time. In fact it's one of the show weakness, the lack of suspense.
